Some couples just feel like old friends from the very beginning, and Megan and Sheldon were exactly that!

From the moment we met them, it felt like we'd known these two forever. Genuine, kindhearted, and so incredibly sweet, it was impossible not to adore them. And the way they love each other? Well, you just know when two people are meant to be.

Like peas and carrots, these two simply belong together! We couldn't have loved being part of their special day more!

There’s a feeling in the air that can only mean one thing… fall is on its way.

Cooler evenings, golden light, and wedding season settling back into the Lowcountry. Some of our very favorite days at Cotton Hall are just ahead.

There’s something extra special about a fall wedding here: gathering your favorite people, celebrating under the trees, and ending the evening beneath the café lights with a little crispness in the air.

Wedding days are beautiful. The flowers, the paper, the carefully set tables, the dress hanging in the bridal suite - we love all of it.
But a wedding was never really about the pretty things.
It’s about two people standing in front of God and the people they love most, choosing one another. It’s two families becoming one. It’s parents wiping away happy tears, grandparents watching another generation begin, friends raising a glass, and a space full of people celebrating one very big life moment.
That’s what we get to witness here.
Cotton Hall is a place where vows are made, happy tears are shed, glasses are raised, families come together, and new chapters begin.
The beautiful details eventually come down. The flowers are carried away and the last song plays.
But what happened here? That’s the part that lasts.

They’re the backdrop to first looks and forever promises, cocktail hours and golden-hour portraits but even on the quiet days, they have a way of stealing the show.
