From small beginnings, come great things!


The Kearsarge House, built around 1888, standing where York Beach Residence Club stands today.

In 2015, 3 structural engineers came to the conclusion the Kearsarge had to be taken down and therefore could not be restored to its former glory. Our co-owners stated "We will honor history. We can't be slaves to the past, but we need to honor it." Described by many as a "bittersweet" moment, a part of history departed ,but a building that brought new life to York Beach took its place.
