It is a beautiful time of year to walk or bike the battlefields of Colonial National Historical Park. The serenity is incredible. To explore the battlefields you need to purchase a ticket at the NPS visitor center. A great place to start is at Surrender Field where there is plenty of parking.

One of the best nights of the year is coming to Yorktown’s riverfront this Saturday August 31 with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra performing. We still have a few rooms available for the weekend and the concert is only a short walk from the inn.
