Austin bucket list experience! 🦇🌙

If you’ve never watched the famous Austin bat flight, this is your sign to plan a trip. Each evening around sunset, an estimated 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats swoop out from beneath the Congress Avenue Bridge — and it’s one of Austin’s most unforgettable bucket list experiences.

Want the best view? See the bats from the water with a sunset boat tour from Lone Star Riverboat or Capital Cruises, where you can kick back and take in the show on Lady Bird Lake. Or make it an even more memorable night with a kayak tour from Live Love Paddle or Austin Kayak Tours.

🛏️ Need a place to stay? Check out Sun Outdoors Lake Travis or Austin Lone Star for the perfect Austin basecamp.
