One day we found a guy selling 12 little parrots caged in a tiny box with no food and water. Not that we didn't have enough work to do in the Hostel already, but we felt there's always a way to make this world a little bit better, no matter how tiny it is. Birds simply do not belong in cages, as we did have no clue how to raise parrots.
Five of them unfortunately didn't make it - snakes, diseases and a dog who cared to much (he licked one to death :/) came between them and their freedom - but in the end seven flew out luckily.
Maybe they recommend our Hostel now.
