Our property is conveniently positioned near everything, yet peacefully placed just far enough away on a quiet hillside overlooking Charlotte Amalie Harbor.

Restaurants, shops, historic sites, and the waterfront are all just a short walk away. And yet, our tropical oasis feels worlds away from the bustle below.

While much of St. Thomas has been dealing with power outages over the past couple of days, things have remained business as usual here at The Green Iguana Hotel. 🌴

Thanks to our solar power system, battery backup, and automatic generator, our guests have stayed cool, comfortable, and connected throughout the outages.

We’re incredibly grateful for the systems we have in place—and even more grateful that our guests have been able to focus on enjoying their vacation instead of worrying about the power. ☀️😊

Our departing guests told us they had a few leftover beverages they wanted to leave behind.

We were expecting a couple of drinks… Instead, they handed us a bar on wheels. 😳

Huge thanks to these wonderful guests for being so thoughtful — and for also remembering our housekeeper. 🙏🏻

The mango tree is getting heavy with fruit. We’ve actually been warning guests to watch their heads since we both got smacked in the forehead by low-hanging mangos the other day. 😅🥭

This is one of our favorite things about this time of year in St. Thomas… the mangos, not getting smacked in the forehead.

Now if we can only beat the iguanas to a few of them. 🦎🌴
