"Top 2 Beautiful Things on St. Croix"

St. Croix doesn't do "pretty good" ... it does breathtaking!! But if you had to pick just TWO things that stop you in your tracks: what would they be? 😍

We'll go first (because we're a little biased, sitting up here at Casa de Vista):

1️⃣ That first glimpse of Christiansted Harbor and Buck Island from our pool deck ... every. single. time.
2️⃣ A beautiful sunrise (with a cup of coffee).

Go visit the "lguanas" at Tamarind Bay! 🦎🌴

Just a short drive from Casa de Vista, Tamarind Reef is one of the best spots on island to see St. Croix's resident iguanas up close. You might catch them sunning themselves on the rocks, ambling along the shoreline, totally unbothered by the humans admiring them. Bring your camera, keep your distance, and don't feed them (they've got the buffet handled themselves 🌿).

Our outdoor plant pots got a fabulous makeover after we bought them, thanks to Brian Runkle and his trusty cans of spray paint! 🎨 A little love, a little color, and now our outdoor space is looking even brighter than before.

It's these little touches that make Casa de Vista feel like home ... even the flower pots know how to have fun in the Caribbean sun! ☀️🌴

Why drink your water?
Because St. Croix heat doesn't play!! 💦

Why hike the Jack & Isaac Bay Trail? Because that dry, sunny, no-shade trail leads you to two of the most gorgeous secluded beaches on the island!! 🏖️

So today's Team Runkle reminder is simple: fill up that water bottle, lace up your shoes, and go get after it. Jack & Isaac Bay is an easy-to-moderate out-and-back, but there's little shade and nowhere to refill along the way. Pack more water than you think you need!! 😎
