Guests who stay at the Frederiksted Hotel have full use of hte beach and facilities of Cottages by the Sea. For business travelers and guests who do not want to rent a car or to lounge endlessly on the beach, but who prefer activities and a "nightlife", we suggest staying at the Frederiksted Hotel vs. Guests who choose to stay at the Frederiksted Hotel can appreciate the old world, Danish architecture of Frederiksted, walk to the beaches of Frederiksted, enjoy the festivities of "cruise ship" days, visit the nearby local attractions, take part in neaby activities of horseback riding, Jet skiing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, ATV Rain Forest Rides, shopping or just enjoy the relaxing comfort of your hotel room. This 32 room, 4 story hotel is perfect for large groups, with all different combinations of rooms including Family rooms with a double and a bunk bed, waterfront rooms with King and twin beds, waterfront rooms with two double beds, courtyard rooms with full kitchens, and a 4th floor “Penthouse” that is a two bedroom condo with a full kitchen. We also offer guest laundry facilities and a ground floor “conference” room for groups to gather. The Inn on Strand Street rooms are all air conditioned and have small kitchenettes (no stove) for casual in-room dining. The hotel also hosts a breakfast only restaurant, Esterlin’s, in its cozy courtyard, that is open 7 days a week for breakfast from 7:30 am to 11:00 am.
