Our banana grove at Hideaway Farms is exploding in bananas these days and here are some fun facts. A single banana is often called a 'finger'. While a cluster of bananas like you would find at the farmer's market or store is called a 'hand'. And a big group like this . . . well that's called a 'bunch' of bananas. Literally and figuratively.

One of the best ways to end the days here is to slide into The Hideaway pool just before sunset. The temperature starts to cool off, the golden hour light starts to hit through the palms and the frogs and coquís start to fill the air with life. It's always beautiful in St. Thomas, but dusk might be our favorite time of the day for this reason alone.
