We’re so excited for our daughter Kirsten’s return to SeaTrek BVI this summer!
For families with kids or young adults ages 11–22 who love the ocean, adventure, sailing, or scuba diving - or want to build confidence and independence while exploring the Caribbean - SeaTrek is truly an incredible program.
Our kids have been part of SeaTrek for years, and we’ve watched firsthand how much these experiences shape young people. What starts as a summer adventure often turns into lifelong friendships, confidence, leadership skills, and a deep love for the ocean.
Kirsten first joined SeaTrek at age 10(!). Over the years she returned as student, then intern, staff, and the last few years as a Captain and NAUI Scuba Instructor. Watching that progression has been pretty amazing.
This may be her final SeaTrek summer before she starts “real life” this fall after graduating PA school - making this season feel especially meaningful for our family.
If you’ve ever considered a sailing/scuba/liveaboard summer experience for your kids or grandkids, we genuinely cannot recommend SeaTrek enough.

“Hi everyone!! My name is Captain Kirsten and I’m super excited to be returning to SeaTrek this year as a NAUI Scuba Instructor! I’ve been a part of SeaTrek for 15 years and feel so lucky that I get to spend this summer sharing my passion & teaching you all about life aboard a catamaran. Get excited!! There’s so much to look forward to — diving, hiking, sailing, marine biology, water sports, falling asleep under shooting stars, making lifelong friendships, and SO much more.
