With many destinations being closed during this Covid 19 pandemic, National Parks have become even more popular for vacations. We are happy to have you here at Virgin Islands National Park and would like to remind you how to responsibly enjoy your park.
Do visit our many beaches but Do Not stand on the coral reef, remove any marine life, including shells from the ocean and Do Not touch the wildlife, in fact it is illegal to touch a sea turtle!
Do learn about our culture and visit the ruins from the Danish West Indies or the petroglyphs from the Taino Indians, but Do Not climb on the ruins or petroglyphs for photographs or any other reason. They are hundreds of years old, fragile and have survived earthquakes and hurricanes.
Do hike on one of our many trails, but Do Not leave any trash or go off the official path. Please enjoy your park and help to leave it the way you found it for future generations.
