UPDATE ON RENOVATIONS
2 Hillside pools by building 31 to 34 Renovation 2027
Main pool Starting around Aug 15 2026
Villa Renovations (except Bay Vista and Virgin Grand 31 to 34 -as they are already completed) starting around Aug 2 2026.
Completion date of the above by Nov 2026

Renovation Details:
Pool Renovation: Our pool area will undergo a resurfacing and deck replacement to provide a more enjoyable and relaxing environment for our guests.
Building Renovations: We will be renovating and painting Virgin Grand, buildings 41 – 44, Sunset and Coral Vista to improve the overall guest experience. This includes modernizing guest rooms and updating our infrastructure.
Timeline: Room renovations are scheduled to begin on August 2, 2026. Main Pool renovations are scheduled to begin on August 15, 2026. Both renovations are expected to be completed by November 2026. During this period, there may be limited access to certain areas of the property. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Alternative Amenities: During the renovation period, we have arranged for several alternative amenities to ensure your stay remains comfortable and enjoyable:
Beach Access: The beach will remain open to all guests throughout the project.
Enhanced Food & Beverage Services: We will be offering enhanced food and beverage services, including mobile dining options on the beach and Lemongrass restaurant.
Local Attractions: Our concierge team will be happy to assist you in exploring local attractions and activities to make the most of your stay.
Additional Information: Please be aware that there will be loud noise at or near the main pool area. Guests staying in the Sunset Bay, may experience limited views due to fencing, noise and construction dust. Additionally, we will be painting buildings and conducting renovations at Sunset Bay building 10 – 16, Coral Vista buildings 21 – 23 and Virgin Grand buildings 41 – 44.

Every Tuesday from 9-10 am in the ball room our Westin GM Paul Bishop gives a wonderful update on the resort (no timeshare presentation)!
Free Coffee/tea/water muffins/pastries are waiting for you. Mr Bishop will do a slide presentation and update on renovations, current status of the resort, numerous questions and answers as well as several department heads with updates as well.

Key takeaways:
All pools on property will be renovated in 2026 in the off season between August and the beginning of November.
