Because you will live like A MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY. Located in a quiet area of central Da Nang city, just 1km to the wonderful My Khe Beach, around 4 km to go to airport/train/bus station. Moreover on the busway to go to Hoi An, 23km. Set up in September, 2016, Brand - New. Being a MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY, you will have the RIGHTS & DUTIES:
RIGHTS: FREE cooking class, FREE basic Vietnamese class , FRE

E local delicious breakfast, FREE coffee and seasonal fruit, FREE wifi. Rooms are comfortable with air - conditional, warm water, tower. DUTIES: Watering the vegetable and flower on your lovely balcony, cut it for your meal here cause we produce & served the organic vegetable at home for you and the last: BEING HAPPY ( of course when you are satisfied with us). We are young, motivated, full of passion with tourism and foreign tourist. 3 of us are English speaking tour guide, so for sure we are easy to understand what you need, tell you a lot about Vietnamese history, culture, lifestyle… Mint Homestay will bring you to the real Vietnamese things, to feel it, to sublimate together.

A very popular dish in VIet Nam to serve with hot steamed rice. A claypot is normally used as it can maintain the heat until served on the table.
Ingrediences:
• 600 g FISH
• 1 tbsp MINCED GARLIC
• 1 tbsp MINCED SHALLOT
• 2 tbsp SUGAR
• 4 tbsp FISH SAUCE
• 2 tbsp VEGETABLE OIL
• 1/2 tsp PEPPER
• ½ tsp TURMERIC POWDER
• 2 RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS

How to cook?
1. Pat the fish dry. In a bowl, dissolve 1 tbsp sugar in 4 tbsp fish sauce. Also pour this sauce over the fish. Add pepper. Let the fish marinate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 1-2 hours).
2. On medium heat, add the vegetable oil and sprinkle 2 tbsp sugar over the base of a saucepan or a claypot. Gently swirl the pan, do not stir. When the sugar is melted and turns into caramel liquid, add minced garlic and 1 tbsp minced shallot and fry until fragrant. Quickly put the fish in.
3. Over high heat, bring the marinated fish to a boil. If the fish produce too little liquid, you can add 1/2 cup coconut juice or hot water. Occasionally swirl the saucepan to coat the fish evenly with the caramel sauce. Add hot pepper (or ginger strips) if you like spicy, then turn the heat to low and simmer for 20 mins.
4. Gently turn the fish over and continue to simmer on low heat for another 20 minutes until the sauce thickens, the fish becomes firm and has nice caramel color.
5. Garnish with chopped spring onion and freshly cracked pepper.
6. Served with hot steamed rice.
