JAECOO J5 makes its debut in Vietnam during the Miss World Festival
The JAECOO J5 was officially introduced to the Vietnamese market during a special event attended by 110 Miss World national ambassadors, at the Dream Dragon Resort.
The presentation introduced guests to the J5 range, including the JAECOO J5 EV, the fully electric version of the new SUV, reflecting the automotive industry’s continued move towards more sustainable mobility.
Powered entirely by electricity, the J5 EV produces no tailpipe emissions while driving and combines electric performance with a range of intelligent technologies and advanced driver-assistance systems. Its electric motor delivers up to 155 kW of power, while its battery provides a range of up to 461 km under the NEDC cycle. Fast charging can take the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 28 minutes.
Technology was also a central theme of the presentation, with demonstrations highlighting the increasing role of artificial intelligence, automation and intelligent systems in the future of mobility.
The event included a series of activities and technology demonstrations before the JAECOO J5 was formally presented to the Vietnamese market.
As electric mobility continues to expand around the world, vehicles such as the J5 EV represent another step towards reducing dependence on fossil fuels and supporting cleaner transportation for the future.
