We are 9-year-apart “twin” sisters. We are the co-hosts of The Art House. I am a thirty-something-year-old Vietnamese woman who loves art, books, wine and travel. I love to paint and dance, too. Most of the paintings in the house are my work. My sister, and my co-host, is in her twenties. She's lively, loves traveling the world (just like me ;-)), plays piano and guitar and can speak Russian perfectly.

The Art House was formerly our family’s residence. When our parents got retired, we moved to the suburb for some more fresh air and quietness. The new place was great. We even have a small garden to plant vegetables! My sister and I loved our new house but somehow we still missed the city vibes at the old place. It’s also much more convenient to commute to work from there but the old place was just too big for two of us to live in. So we thought ‘why shouldn’t we put the spare rooms on Airbnb for guests all over the world to experience a real Hanoian living style? It would be fun and also profitable! Why not?

Without hesitation and with the support of our parents, we renovated this lovely place and turned it into a cozy home for Hanoi lovers. The house is filled with paintings, fish ponds, mango tree, green plants and flowers, like a peaceful oasis in the hustles and bustles of Hanoi. That how the Art House was born
