We are now marketing our GK range as a family disinfectant that is safe and yet effective. Below are some of the tests we have did which can send very powerful marketing messages:
1. SARS-CoV-2
This is the virus that is responsible for the COVID pandemic. Our GK Air has been tested and proven effective against this virus
2. Hospital Grade Claims
For this claim, we are following the US Environment Protection Agency (EPA) standards. Basically we need to test for a number of microorganisms using a specified test method known as the AOAC used dilution. If we can pass this strict test, then we can claim that our products are 'hospital grade'
3. Safety Test
There are no doubts that our products are effective but safety is always a concern for many people. Hence, we have subjected our GK Air to various toxicity test to give customers a piece of mind. All results returned a 'category 5' rating which means that the toxicity is so low that it is negligible. Note it is however not ethical to claim that the product is "toxic free" since it is after all, chemicals.
4. Approval in Singapore
As mentioned yesterday, there is no requirement to get approvals for disinfectants in Singapore. However, whatever you claim on your labels or advertisements you do must be supported with the relevant test reports. Advertisement will include all forms whether it is social media, traditional media like newspapers and magazines, or even simple things like a product catalogue. Note our products are however listed in Singapore's National Environment Agency's list of disinfectants that are effective against COVID.
5. Clients reference
One of our most prominent clients for GK Air will be Singapore Airlines. They have been using our products for more than 10 years. We also supply to many preschools and childcare centers here in Singapore. Other users will include some international hotels and our public transport companies.
