The new destination, plentiful specialty with a reasonable price is a plus for the Binh Ba Excursion in the summer.
1. The Location
The Binh Ba Island is on Cam Binh town, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province. It is a small island which is as the waving and windy barrier wall for the overall waist of the Cam Ranh Bay. Many years ago, the island has many lobstermen in Robinson Island. Recently, the tourist service is developed, many come to Binh Ba for discovering, especially the tourist group.
2. Transport
From Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Ba with the high quality passenger cars (Phuong Trang, Cuc Tung, Mai Linh, etc.), the Cam Rang Station or train which drive you to Nha Trang Station and then catch a bus to Cam Ranh. If you want to save time for your trip, plane is a good choice for straight to Cam Ranh Airport.
To come to the island, the boat on Ba Ngoi Port (5km away from Cam Ranh Station) runs 4 trips a day, departing from the port at 7:00, 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00 and arriving at 5:00, 9:00, 12:00 and 16:30 each day.
3. Staying
On the island, there are homestays and hostels for groups of tourists. Contact to book and negotiation for rent a stove, bowl, spoon, etc. to be able to have a seafood barbecue party.
4. Beautiful beaches
Coming to Binh Ba Island, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of nature with the blue sea and the stretching white sand-bank. Binh Ba’s beaches are not noisy and crowded, otherwise, it brings you a quiet and peaceful feeling in your heart.
There are three famous beaches in Binh Ba including Chuong Beach, Nom Beach and Old House Beach. Each beach has its own features which attract tourists. Chuong Beach is an ideal site for seeing beautiful sunrise. Nom Beach is impressive with the spreading white sand. Furthermore, you can also camp in the seashore and enjoy the nice sunset in a more romantic scenery than ever. Old House Beach is famous for the clear water and the poetic surrounding landscape. This is am extremely suitable place for some interesting activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving, catching seafood and especially, seeing the coral reefs and the colorful species of fish under the sea.
5.Top cuisines
Hon Noi Bird’s Nests, Vit Lon Ninh Hoa, Binh Ba Lobster, Dien Khanh dried deer are delicious cuisines in Khanh Hoa. The steam and grilled lobsters or gruel with lobsters is the specialty with a reasonable price.
Grilled Nhum dish (Cau G*i) which uses the spoon to scrape the shelled lobsters eaten with salt, pepper and lemon will feel the fat and nutrition. Vu Nang snail, Mat Trang snail, Muc Mot Nang (squid), etc. are also seafood of the central area unable to miss to Binh Ba.
6. Scuba diving and coral viewing
A unique and exciting activity that always makes almost tourists interested in when visiting this island is snorkeling and enjoying the coral reefs. Binh Ba Island owns a lot of beautiful coral reefs and the advantageous features of nature such as the low sea level and the rare clear blue water.
Diving in Binh Ba brings a great number of extremely special experiences. Binh Ba is an island that still keeps the wild and original beauty of nature; therefore, you will be impressed by the colorful coral reefs. Also, you can go fishing or fishing squid in the combination of your diving trip. It will be really surprising when you yourself can catch fish or squid from the sea.
