It all started when we were students of the University of Southampton. Being in another country with a completely different culture, we expected lots of difficulties adapting to the life in the UK.
But things weren’t as bad as we were afraid. Not that it got a lot easier, but our early days in the UK weren’t much of a trouble at least. We found a place to stay!
We were grateful that the pictures of our flat were so real so that our expectation was set just right. Satisfied with our choice - that how we felt when we stepped foot into the flat.
We were grateful that the check in instruction was so detailed that there was no way for people to get it wrong. We made it to our flat at one go, saved tons of time for our shopping later in the afternoon.
We were grateful that our inquiry and request for maintenance were responded immediately and things were resolved in a timely manner. We felt that we were respected and listened to. Everyone was working toward the same goal: Ensure a pleasant stay!
All of that freed us from all the worries about accommodation so that we can focus on our study and enjoying the student life.
The building we stayed in the UK was building D. So when we came back to Vietnam and started all of this, we chose the name Dzone.
Dzone reminds us of how we felt when we first got into building D. It reminds us of how the detailed instructions, and the immediate response rested us assure that everything gonna be fine.
We want to bring the same kind of feeling to travellers. It is a society give-back. If UK treated us so well, let Vietnam treat travellers even better!
