CAREER OPPORTUNITY
- An Asian hospitality group is seeking to appoint a highly-motivated and experienced senior sales & marketing executive to be the Sales & Marketing Director and lead the growth of its award-winning flagship Property in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- The Property is a unique manor-style urban resort by the Saigon River and has achieved an international reputation for its boutique luxury accommodation, restaurant and bar, and is a popular weddings and events destination offering a unique hospitality experience to its guests.
- This is a senior level position in the group which has expansion plans to grow in Vietnam and South East Asia.
JOB PURPOSE
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and lead ex*****on of high growth Sales & Marketing strategies and plans to improve profitable and sustainable growth of the Accommodation, F&B and Banquets & Events businesses of the Property.
• Provide functional leadership to Property sales and marketing staff to optimize opportunities through proactive planning and ex*****on of marketing and sales plans and strategies to drive business growth and establish its brand reputation.
• Work with GM and make impactful contributions to achievement of forecasted Property revenues and performance, particularly through leadership of its Banquets and Events business.
• Work with GM to establish clear growth objectives and deliverables of the Property business units in line with business objectives.
• Build a professional and reputable Sales & Marketing team with effective capabilities to develop and manage an effective network of strategic partners in upscale and luxury brand management, creative content development, and digital technology enabled media marketing and sales.
• Work with GM in talent recruitment, development and retention for the Sales & Marketing function.
• As a member of Property leadership team, interact with all departments of the Property, and contribute constructively towards investment, development, operations, and asset management proposals and plans for the Property.
POSITION COMPETENCIES
- Relevant Sales & Marketing management experience in luxury hospitality and real estate industry, with a proven track record in institutional sales origination, key account management, sales & marketing functions for Accommodation, F&B and/or Banquets & Events businesses.
- Experience with CRM systems and processes.
- Problem solver.
- Good interpersonal skills and service-oriented.
- Strong interest in hospitality and real estate.
- Credible and effective in managing business partners.
- Mature, resilient and commercially experienced.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION
Degree in Hospitality or Real Estate with major in Sales & Marketing from a reputable university a plus.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 10 years of upscale and luxury sales & marketing experience.
• Experience in Vietnam is essential.
• Possesses working knowledge of upscale and luxury hotel operations and serviced residences.
• International experience a plus.
