Nhiều chục năm về trước, thời điểm ấy cuộc sống dù thiếu thốn rất nhiều nhưng các cụ trong làng quyết định dừng việc canh tác ở các ngọn đồi đối diện, và bắt đầu trồng rừng.

Để bây giờ bậc con cháu chúng mình may mắn được thức dậy mỗi ngày với rừng trước cửa, sáng nghe chim hót, tối nghe tiếng ếch kêu, và còn vô số âm thanh khác từ các loài vật và cây cối, cùng với bầu không khí trong lành và nguồn nước mát lạnh quanh năm.

Our story is not just about homestay.

Our house is in Sapa, Giang Ta Chai village, Ta Van commune, about 10km from the town.

Some people asked us what to do to have fun at night?

Dear friends, honestly the answer is: nothing at all!

Joy House is not a touristic place ... Our place is simply a land with small houses at the end of the village, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, rice terraces and a stream flowing in front of the house.

Our place is for those who look for the tranquility and relaxation and want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

At Joy House,

You will have mellow mornings with a hot coffee and bird songs resonating from the mountains.

You will have leisurely strolls at noon on the village roads with local children.

You will have romantic sunsets by river and mountains.

You will have rustic dinners with fruits and vegetables picked from the forest or gardens of the villagers.

You will have a peaceful space of mountains and forests with the moon and stars, the sound of winds and sudden rains beside campfire,

And we can sing and share our stories, which haven't had opportunities to tell on busy days... it's a true world of gathering.

We have 4 dogs: Hong, Tuyet, Huong and Dao. They love to run around and play with the children in the village, make us remember our childhood time without having to worry, living in a simple way & also simple happiness.

At Joy House, plastic bottles are not used and we purify water from the mountains for use. So, if you stay with us, bring your bottles of water. This our small act has saved nearly 1,000 plastic bottles every month at our place. And we're also committed to plant 1,000 trees a year through Journey Of Youth's project to contribute to the healing of nature.

We’ve been looking around such for a long time, just to find happiness and a place called “home”, but “home” is not a place, it’s the moment of now, in every step we walk, every breath we take and every second we love each other.
