Here comes a guest's review that makes one (esp. Ms Dory) feel at ease

Fireworks homestay has always been my number one choice and im writing this review to thank Ms Dory for the unconditional help she rendered even though I was not a guest at her hotel(difficult to book as all her rooms are mostly taken). I needed advice and directions to continue on my travel plans in Vietnam while the hotel I’m with was not available to assist me.

Dory was resourceful, experienced and willing to go the extra mile to help me even she was not obliged to especially during a peak season in Hoi An. Because of Dory, my itinerary was smooth, seamless and comfortable and she truly exemplifies the Vietnamese hospitality and deserves every 5 stars earned. A FRIENDLY HOMESTAY WITH FRIENDLY OWNERS

+ Fireworks Homestay was a fantastic place to stay. It is conveniently located, and was close to restaurants, shops, the main town and rice paddies. The owners were so kind and helpful, providing us with lots of advice and recommendations, as well as providing free bikes for guests. The breakfast there was also delicious, and the owner even gave us a free banana pancake, and as we departed, they also gave us more water and a snack. Our room was comfortable and clean with a great shower. We would highly recommend staying here.

호이안에 온다면 무조건 여기로!

제가 그동안 여러 호텔을 다녀봤지만 여기가 최고에요. 방이 깨끗하고 곰팡이도 없어서 너무 편하게 지냈어요. 욕실도 넓어서 더 마음에 들었네요. 올드타운도 걸어서 15분정도 걸리고 그랩은 기본요금정도 나와요. 바이크 대여도 해주던데 저렴한듯. 전 거리 구경하는 걸 좋아해서 걸어다녔는데 가깝고 밤에도 조용해서 잠도 잘 잤어요. 호이안 숙소는 하숙집 느낌의 홈스테이가 많은데 여기도 그런 곳이에요. 가족이 운영하시는데 어머니와 도리(Dory)가 친절하게 응대해주고 매번 필요한 것은 없는지 물어보고 챙겨줬어요. 도리가 해 준 바나나팬케이크,커피,누들까지 ! 틈틈히 먹으라고 챙겨준 덕에 친척집에 온 것처럼 진짜 편안히 있었어요. 전 10월에 또 갑니다. ㅎㅎ 마음편히 쉬면서 보내고 싶다면 추천드려요 :)

太好了，完美的体验

这是来到越南旅行，住过最干净舒适的房间，房间非常的干净，而且价格还那么低，真是意外的惊喜，晚上睡觉也很安静，非常的好睡觉，老板人非常的好，非常热情，老板的女儿会中文，长得很漂亮，人也很热心，帮忙预定了古镇演出的门票，还有车票等等，以后来越南还会选择这里，真是一次完美的体验。

"Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans ce Homestay et nous avons adoré. L’emplacement était idéal, à seulement 15 min à pieds du centre et vous pouvez aussi louer des vélos pour vous promener autour de la ville. Les hôtes ont étaient d’une grande gentillesse et de très bon conseils, c’est je pense ce que l’on a le plus apprécié, les chambres étaient très propres et très bien aménagé ! Si vous êtes de passage à Hoï An, n’hésitez plus vous avez trouvé votre Hôtel !!"

とてもお得に宿泊させていただいたのでどんなところかドキドキでしたが、到着すると丁寧におすすめのお店や旧市街などの行き方、住所などメモと地図をいただき、自転車の空気を入れて椅子の高さもあわせてくれたり、美味しいフルーツをいただき親戚の家に来たような温かいもてなしを受けました。
紹介してくれたお店はどこも美味しく、特にソルトコーヒーは自分では絶対に入らない店構えだったのでありがたかったです。
こちらの拙い英語でも聞き取って話してくださり、可愛いお子さんにも癒され、またホイアンに行く機会があれば必ずお世話になりたいと思います。
We got such a great deal on this stay that I was nervous about what it would be like, but when I arrived they kindly gave me notes and a map with addresses and directions to the old town and recommended shops, they also pumped up the air in my bike and adjusted the height of my chair, and they gave me delicious fruit, and I received such warm hospitality that it felt like visiting a relative's house.
All the shops they introduced me to were delicious, and I was especially grateful for the salt coffee, as it was a place I would never have gone to on my own.
They were able to understand my poor English and speak to me, and their cute children were soothing. If I have the opportunity to visit Hoi An again, I will definitely use their services again.

A true hidden gem in Hoi An, this homestay is run by an incredibly warm and welcoming family. I arrived early in Da Nang around 9 a.m. and asked if early check-in might be possible. They immediately agreed and simply told me to come by and check in anytime.

At reception, the host, Dory, took the time to clearly explain what to do around the city, recommending great food spots and must-visit places. They also offered to help arrange bookings and tours in and around Hoi An. Complimentary bicycles are available as well, making it easy to explore the city at your own pace.

It was a truly warm and wonderful stay—I can’t wait to come back.

BEST STAY IN 2 MONTHS

The hosts were so kind. I showed up at 6 am and she welcomed me early, let me store my bags, say down with me and told me everything I can do in and around Hoi An, including local foods to eat and where. They had bikes you could borrow for free and can help book activities. She helped me do a basket boat tour while I waited for a room. When I returned, the room was available early for me around 10. The room was clean and the shower was fantastic. Great pressure and decent hot water - very hot if you shower early before anyone else is up. It's close to the bus station and easy and pleasant walk to old town with plenty of great food on the way. Host also kept giving me cough drops like my mom and sent me off with a treat at checkout. Wonderful home and I would definitely stay here again if I'm back

+ We had such a warm and memorable stay at Fireworks Homestay. The family who runs it is absolutely lovely — so kind, welcoming, and truly cares about their guests. We arrived early in the morning and the mother kindly let us check in right away, which made such a difference after a long journey.

Staying here felt less like a hotel and more like being part of a home. You can feel the heart in everything they do — from the way they greet you to how they make sure you have everything you need. It’s calm, comfortable, and full of genuine warmth.

If you want a place with real local hospitality, where you’re treated like family rather than just visitors, Fireworks Homestay is perfect. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay again. ❤️

来会安最温暖的事情是住在这个民宿。男主人50多岁，在20多年前，多个外国领导人参观会安古镇时，他作为英文翻译和讲解员。男女主人非常非常nice，给我们介绍会安旅行建议，通过他们以当地人的价格买到演出门票、摇船、越南烹饪课程等。他们的女儿特别可爱，可以说越南语、英语、中文、泰语、韩语。每天早餐3美元，包括地道的越南主食、水果、果汁。在这里，像住在家里一样，他们就像自己的家人一样，在这里体验到与越南家庭住在一起最温暖的感觉！在我们临走时，送给我们水和香蕉，让我们在路上吃。这里离会安古镇非常近，每天走路溜溜哒哒就到达古镇和河边。下次来会安，我们会毫无犹豫地再次选这个民宿！

"The warmest thing about coming to Hoi An was staying at this homestay. The host, who is in his fifties, served as the English translator and guide more than 20 years ago when several foreign leaders visited Hoi An Ancient Town. The host and hostess are incredibly nice. They gave us travel advice for Hoi An, and through them, we were able to buy tickets for shows, boat rides, and Vietnamese cooking classes at local prices. Their daughter is particularly lovely and can speak Vietnamese, English, Chinese, Thai, and Korean. Breakfast is $3 USD per day, including authentic Vietnamese main dishes, fruit, and juice. Staying here felt like being at home; they treated us like family. We experienced the warmest feeling of living with a Vietnamese family! When we left, they gave us water and bananas for the road. The location is very close to Hoi An Ancient Town; we could easily stroll to the Old Town and the river every day. Next time we come to Hoi An, we will definitely choose this homestay again without hesitation!"

We actually arrived and checked in for our booking on the complete wrong dates this did not seem to matter because our hosts made every accomodation for us to have a comfortable stay in hoi an they also had many suggestions for activities and places to eat in town their passion for hoi an as a prime visitor destination is clearly visible in the way they present themselves and open their home to guests the hosts have such beautiful and accomodating nature which makes you feel at home we opted to have breakfast which was absolutely delicious and super affordable the beds were very comfortable and location is walking distance to the old town would highly recommend this accomodation because the level of service and attention to detail cant be matched for how affordable the stay is loved every moment
