Located in Phong Nha – the caving capital of South East Asia, our lovely hostel overlooks the peaceful Son River where you can swim in crystal clear waters. Engulfed by surrounding limestone mountains, green paddy fields, and the gateway to explore Phong Nha national park.
Green Riverside Cosy Home is your cosy, one-stop, home away from home, a perfect place to connect with nature and enjoy a real home & local experience. We are the perfect choice for solo travellers, flashpackers and groups of friends looking for relaxed social vibes and authentic Vietnamese experience. Here at Green Riverside Cosy Home, we understand that solo travelling is life-changing, but can at times be lonely or challenging. We seek to remedy this by creating a unique balance of social, fun, homely & welcoming vibes, allowing backpackers to form connections and forge close friendships. Every guests’ name & preferences are remembered and activities are planned to help you have meaningful conservations & interactions with fellow travellers. In addition to our daily Family Dinner, we also host a variety of cultural-focused activities like Free Fun Vietnamese Lesson, Cycling Tour & Cooking class, Quizzes Games, Karaoke Night, Happy Hour and offer a range of entertaining games such as Darts, Wheel of the Chair, Uno, Chess, Pool Table, Foosball, and Table Tennis.
We are super excited to involve every individual and make them part of our family. Therefore, if you’re in the mood for some time to yourself or you’re feeling travel fatigued, maybe give us a miss!
What you can expect:
- 🛎️⏰ 24/7 Reception Desk – no matter if you arrive late
(Our family lives on the first floor, so we’re always available to check you in at any time. Please notify us via WhatsApp or email if you plan to arrive between 10 PM and 6 AM.”
- 🛵 🚖 FREE pick up from Phong Nha bus station (2km) by motorbike (from 6AM - 10 PM) or reserve 70,000 VND/taxi or get grab yourself
- 🛏️❄️🔒🚿💡 Comfortable dorms & private rooms with A-C, lockers, large private bathroom with powerful hot shower, Fast Wi-Fi, kettle, mini bar and fan….We have private curtains , small lamp, power outlets on all dorm beds and each dorm bed will have one small locker for passport, money and big lockers on the side for bacpack.

THINGS TO NOTE:
+ FREE cancellation: At least 24 hours before arrival
+ Check-in time: from 1:00PM
(If you arrive in the middle of the night or early in the next morning, please book previous night to ensure the availability/cleanliness/full benefits…). Also give us a notice on Whatsapp/Email to request check-in time between the hours of 22:00PM - 6:00 AM
+ Check-out time: at 11 AM
+ Payment: VND cash (Preferable or credit card (Visa/Master card) with a 3% transaction fee
(We recommend you to get cash at VPbank or TP bank in big city to avoid high fee before coming to Phong Nha)
+ Non-smoking room but have a smoking area outside
+ No shoes in the hostel/room. Use flip-flop provided
+ Be quiet after 11 PM
+ Send us a request if your group booking request to stay in same dorm)
