Evento de “Surada”

Desde la mañana de este sábado se espera evento de “Surada” con vientos muy fuertes (60 a 80 km/h) en zonas costeras del noreste de Yucatán y zonas costeras de Quintana Roo, además de zonas del centro y norte de Quintana Roo y oriente de Yucatán. De igual manera se esperan vientos fuertes (50 a 60 km/h) en el resto de las costas de Yucatán y Quintana Roo, así como mayor parte del estado de Yucatán, Quintana Roo y oriente de Campeche.

Tomen sus precauciones por posible caída de ramas, árboles y daños en estructuras frágiles. A los navegantes se les recomienda estar al tanto de los avisos que emitan las capitanías de puerto correspondientes.

VACACIONES LIBRES DE SARGAZO!!!!!

Se confirma el pronóstico emitido el día 20 de Junio por la Red de Monitoreo Ambiental y Cambio Climático del Mar Caribe, no tendremos sargazo en las costas de Quintana Roo, en lo que resta del año 2024, los pocos remanentes que quedaban de biomasa de esta macroalga en aguas del Caribe Mexicano, ya recalaron en días pasados por acción del Huracán Beryl. Lo que garantizará un periodo de vacaciones de verano del 2024 completamente libre de sargazo. Lo que ha generado esta condición especial, han sido los cambios significativos en la dirección y velocidad de las corrientes marinas principales del Caribe. Según lo anunció el Hidrobiólogo Esteban Amaro Mauricio, Director de la Red de Monitoreo del Sargazo de Quintana Roo.
