Can’t wait to visit Hatter’s Farm and see their tulips 💐
Famous for their pumpkins in the autumn and flowers in the summer, spring is when the tulips are out in abundance. Just 20 minutes from the Coachhouse you’ll find 3 acres of beautiful blooms, street food drink and cut flowers to purchase.
Dogs on leads are welcome too! 🌷🌷

Those of you who followed our renovation from the start might remember our attempts to replace the old cockerel weathervane that was lead with glass eyes and had been shot to pieces by someone practicing their aim 😳
We finally have a suitable replacement, albeit not perfect. It looks like a small thing from the ground but anything up on the roof needs to be massive to look right - swipe left and check out the first attempt of a horse and cart that looked ridiculous it was so small - and the original poor bird.
We attempted to get a replacement made but never heard back from the blacksmith who measured up. Our builder saved the day by rescuing this cockerel from another house locally. It’s a bit wobbly but better than the bare point we had for so long! 🐓
