HEAT WAVE: a period of unusually hot weather that typically lasts two or more days.

To be considered a heat wave, the temperatures have to be outside the historical averages for a given area.

Did you know that the highest recorded heat index in the Philippines happened last August 2023 at Casiguran, Aurora at 60°C, almost Enough to pouched your Egg. 🤭😶‍🌫️

Top tips to keep cool in hot weather

1. Be Sun smart- wear sunscreen, wear light colored clothing, use umbrella or salakot
2. Drink plenty of water, preferably cold water.
3. Eat light meals to feel cooler
4. Wetter is better: Visit Balai sa Uma and have a bath in our natural spring water plunge pool.
