Great news that one of Moray's finest beaches is accessible again!
BBC: New £1.8m Lossiemouth bridge reopens beach access.

The previous footbridge in Lossiemouth was closed in 2019 when structural engineers ruled it unsafe.

It's Spring re-opening time and we're looking forward to welcoming our first guests of the year this week, however it's not feeling very Spring-like today! Just as well there's a fire in the lounge to keep warm and cosy!

Situated in a peaceful, rural location close to the Moray Coast, Woodland View Lodge offers couples and families the opportunity to get away from it all and experience a tranquil break in the countryside in comfort.

Open from April to November, the lodge sleeps up to 6 guests and prices start from only £95 per night with discounts for longer stays. Well behaved pets are also welcome.

Woodland View Lodge is in an isolated, rural location. There is no public transport and no amenities within walking distance so you will need a car. We are situated down a farm track at the end of a no-through road, so the only passing traffic you are likely to see is the odd dog walker or horse rider.

With spectacular views in all directions, our dark skies and elevated position overlooking the Moray Firth, offer an exceptional spectacle of the night sky and of the Northern Lights (Aurora borealis) when they are visible.

We are surrounded by native Scottish wildlife and enthusiasts will be delighted at the biodiversity on our doorstep. We have deer, badgers and pine martens as well as a huge number of different bird species including owls, buzzards, lapwings and sky larks.
