Just wanted to share information for skiers traveling to Crystal Mountain. Please check the Crystal Mt. Resort website and purchase passes on line. They are requesting that people use their shuttle service as the parking lots have been filling up by 8-8:30am on the weekends. Use the North Lot at the Expo Center for carpooling as Safeway customers have not been able to park and shop. Good luck, stay safe and if you can ski midweek choose that option.

Have you booked your winter adventure?

Enumclaw is only 45 minutes from Crystal Mountain Resort. Many trails around and above Greenwater for hiking and snowshoeing. Then warm up at Enumclaw Restaurants, Breweries, Wine Tasting Bars and Distillery.

Our resident birdwatcher. To my knowledge that’s all she does. Eats plenty of bugs though. Our high season is ending and our place may be available for traveling nurses.

We finally moved out of the AirBnB just in time for the high season of hosting around here. Lived in our AirBnB since last October as paint, varnish, shellac, wax and grime got removed from just about every piece of .
This is a picture of my bedroom floor. I was set on having a which is very light. Well I had to improvise a bit cause the soap alone ended up a little too dull. After a lot of experimenting with various products ( was one) I ended up combining and . I won’t lye (pun intended) it was a royal pain and trashed my right knee but I love the color. -once everything is done I’ll post a tour. @ Enumclaw, Washington

Have you ever tried stuffing an alcove tub 🛀 into a ? After my friend lugged the thing down the stairs for me I asked “do you think it will fit in the ?” Sure enough he made it fit. Dropped it off at the store and the little once again proved it’s usefulness moonlighting as a work truck. @ Renton, Washington

Finally decided to just go ahead and oil the doors in main house. Tested quite a few things and just about everything short of a stain leaves Douglas Fir this color. Odie’s Dark promises to allow the natural darkening of age to occur which is what I’m hoping for...though it doesn’t look much different from their original formula. Nice thing is I just rub it into my hands after buffing.

We are still living in the . Anxious to get back in the main house. The master bath is nearing completion. We had to hunt down a drain for the vintage ledgeback sink. An essential wax ring and brass clip were missing from the shower bar-valve. Finishingshing the tub shelf and the putty paint and caulk for window and door. It’s going to be a fantastic age in place bathroom for my mom. @ Enumclaw, Washington
