We’ve been to candy making experience class today in Matsumoto.
The lesson is not so hard and fun.

It would be great one day trip to Matsumoto from Hakuba.
There are a castle, museum, shopping streets, shopping mall and lots of things to do in Matsumoto.

白馬さのさかスキー場の上の方にある絶景のレストラン【Lake View Capella】に行ってきました。
5月はオープンキャンペーンを実施されていたので、特にローカルの方々でとっても混んでいました。
予約した方が良かったです。

お食事はメインを頼んで前菜はビュッフェ形式でした。

絶景と共にお食事が楽しめます。
行き帰りはゲレンデを登る必要があるので、四駆車が無難です。

New open restaurant on top of the Hakuba Sanosaka Ski field.
The view from the restaurant is so beautiful.
You can enjoy the view during your lunch.

It will take about 20 minutes driving from the Kotori Cottage.
The last bit of load on the way to the restaurant is off load and you’ve better to have 4WD car to get here.

小鳥コテージから徒歩5-10分(約700m)の所にあるクレープリーガレージさんでガレットを食べました♪
ずっと行きたくて、やっと行けました！

午前中はクレープリーで午後から夜はコケモモさんと言うクラフトビールの楽しめるお店です。

今回はガレットと自家製アップルビネガーのソーダ割りを頂きました。次は甘い系のクレープを食べに行きたいです。
そしてコケモモさんでビールも飲みたいです。

Today’s lunch at creperie_garage.
Located only 700m from the Kotori Cottage.
You can enjoy sweet crepe or/and savory crepe in the morning.
I had a pork and ginger galette and homemade apple vinegar with soda water.
They change to craft beer bar called KOKEMOMO from afternoon.

I wanna try sweet crepe next time and also go to craft beer time as well!

やっと行けました。
雪の大谷。
３年前に行った時は暴風雪(雨)で閉鎖されていて、近くまで行ったけど見られず。
今日は念願の雪の大谷と雷鳥も五羽見られました！
嬉しい。

We went to see the Snow Wall at Tateyama today!
We went there 3 years ago but we couldn’t see because of bad weather and heavy wind.
We could see 5 of Raicho birds as well.
You can do day trip from the Kotori Cottage to the Tateyama, Kurobe dam.

お隣の大町市の芝桜。
とっても綺麗で癒されました。
そのまた先の穂高地区では綺麗な花桃があったり、白馬でもまだこぶしや桜が楽しめて、お花がいっぱいの美しい季節ですね。

Beautiful flowers everywhere.
Great season for relax with beautiful colors.

白馬村の桜も満開です。
あいにくの曇り空でしたが、汗ばむくらいの陽気で観光客の方も美しい桜を愛でられていました🌸

Hakuba has full cherry blossoms now!
Pretty warm as April today and beautiful cherry blossoms everywhere in Hakuba.

Everywhere is so colorful and beautiful.

白馬村のお隣、大町市や小川村の桜はちょうど見頃ですよ♪
白馬村もちらほら咲き始めています。

Time for cherry blossoms.
Omachi and Ogawa (both about 30 minutes driving from Hakuba) is really beautiful now!
Hakuba will be get beautiful blossoms soon.

À new bar called «WHITE BAR » will be opened near the Kotori Cottage this winter.
You can enjoy Japanese Sake, whisky and others in nice and cozy bar.
It will take less than 10 minutes walk from the cottage!

小鳥コテージ近くにこの冬新しいバーもオープンしますよ！
素敵な雰囲気の中で美味しい日本酒、ウイスキーなどの飲み物が楽しめそうです。
そんな『WHITE BAR』さんは、小鳥コテージから徒歩10分弱です。

Only 5-10 minutes walk.
You can enjoy cooking your own delicious meats in front of you!

小鳥コテージから徒歩で行ける焼肉屋さんがこの冬オープンします。
美味しいお肉が食べたくなったらGO。

New Izakaya opened in Hakuba near Kotori Cottage.
One of the famous chain Izakaya in Japan “Yoro no Taki” will be opened from this winter.
If you don’t wanna miss to eat there, it’s better to book!
There will be great Yakiniku restaurant and fabulous bar in the same place.
Don’t miss out.
