And just like that, we are back and better than ever! 🪵✨

Following the recent heavy rains, our team got straight to work, and we are absolutely thrilled to reveal our brand-new, completely rebuilt kiddies play area! As you can see, it has a fresh new look, a climbing wall, monkey bars, and plenty of space for the little ones to explore. 🏃‍♂️💨

Avoca has always been a place where families can relax and children are expected to play and have fun. We couldn't be happier to have this special corner of our riverside paradise ready for action just in time for your next family getaway.

Mother Nature threw us a bit of a curveball recently! 🪵🌊

The heavy rains brought the river right up to our doorstep, and while the floodwaters have left their mark, they’ve also given us a brilliant blank canvas. Our beloved jetty and the kiddies play area took a bit of a knock, but we are looking at the bright side: we now get to completely rebuild and refresh them for your next getaway!

In our previous post, you can see the team is already hard at work on the ground, getting stuck into the upgrades. 🛠️✨

Happy 75th Birthday to Dave Smith! 🎂

In this photo, you’ll see the two hearts behind everything we do here at Avoca River Cabins. Dave and Judy’s story is one for the books - they have been by each other's side since Dave was 16 and Judy was 15.

Dave and Judy have poured their hearts into creating the sanctuary you see today. From the citrus orchards to the rose gardens and every unique stay - from the Castle to the Tree Tops Cottage - they have built a lasting legacy together in the Sundays River Valley.

Dave and Judy have spent decades welcoming families to the river, ensuring Avoca is a place where children can play and everyone can find a bit of peace.
