Good evening.

Trust you are well.
It has been an incredible busy time, even with winter here. Chilli early mornings at 3 degrees celcius and evenings one feel the nip in the air.

We are so busy with maintenance and I have also moved closer to the lodge. Happy lady! Hence the fact that everyone who knows where Zebra studio is, it is now my own managers studio where Tim and I stay. Tim is busy renovating an old studio, which was used for odds and ends, into a beautiful new Zebra studio, I cannot wait to show you all the work that is happening very soon.

In the meantime, I am sitting in the kitchen right now, while my Chef Bulelwa is prepping dinner for our guests. I will put some pictures on in due course. It looks yummy as always!

I am running some incredible accommodation and safari specials, so don't hesitate to make contact with me. We would love to see you here to enjoy simply the best hospitality at HAPPY JACKAL!

Good morning peeps

Is this just not to beautiful!

One of our guests slept in the Leopard room and said she just could not help herself to dress up in our decor. How amazing is it when you see something unusual as this. For us it means the guests loved her room, decor and had a ball at Happy Jackal!

Good morning

Tim putting the final touches in and there you go!
The kitchen is completed
What a beautiful kitchen to cook all the meals in.

Oops! We are planning however to put one twist into the kitchen. A bit about that in future.

Thank you to our own Nature site guide and maintenance manager for working hours and hours alone, from early morning to late at night. You rock!

Each night its a spring clean and quickly before breakfast time, another clean. After breakfast, it all starts again lol

Good morning

Changes happening at Happy Jackal.
We still have our awesome menu but added Egg Benedict to the breakfast menu. Still get your mini loaf white bread on your table, with our home made jams from some of our trees.

The Chefs have been doing so well and as time goes, we add to our menu.
Dinner menus on the planning card! Excited!

We are also in the process of revamping our kitchen. It is looking goooood!!!!!!! Our nature site guide is busy with some maintenance in-between taking guests to Addo park, but of course he loves what he does and is good at it!

I must say. The kitchen has never been changed since Happy Jackal was build, but we felt an upgrade is now needed.
We will send photos as it progresses. Hope you like it too!
