We found one of our wildlife camera traps lying upside down on the ground. The last picture taken showed the cause and culprit.

"Fynbos Hill" sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms en suite in the old villa. The kitchen, lounge and dining area is in the modern building set back to the left of the villa.

The Leafy-vase Heath (Erica melanacme) is a rare and endangered plant, confined to the small area between Gansbaai and Bredasdorp. Only a few populations are known. It is a summer flowering Heath and this December we explored the reserve to see if we could find more than the one individual plant known so far on Farm 215 and the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy. We were lucky. We found this Erica in three different spots in the reserve with a total of about 50 plants. There are likely to be more.

House on 215 seen from different directions, with matching views. It has two bedrooms, each with their own toilet and shower facilities, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable lounge area, lapa with braai in a private garden and a hottub/plungepool. An extra bed can be made up in the lounge area. Perfect for a family travelling with kids or couples or friends travelling together.
