Every rhino protected begins with people willing to dedicate their lives to the task 🦏🌍

This World Ranger Day, we honour the rangers, field teams and K9 handlers working on the frontlines of conservation in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. Together with their highly trained canine partners, they play a vital role in safeguarding one of Africa’s most important wildlife strongholds, and protecting the species that call it home.

Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is the birthplace of the Southern White Rhino, where a small surviving population was brought back from the brink of extinction through the vision and determination of conservation pioneers. Today, that legacy continues in the face of ongoing poaching threats.

Through our partnership with Isibindi Foundation, we proudly support efforts to expand and strengthen the Park’s K9 Unit. These remarkable dogs are among the most effective tools in the fight against wildlife crime, helping rangers track suspects, locate evidence, and protect vulnerable wildlife. 🐾🦏🌿

Today, we celebrate the courage, commitment and quiet dedication of every ranger and every K9 team working to ensure that future generations inherit a world where rhinos still roam wild.
