The people behind the plates. 🌿

Behind every dish served at Isibindi is a story, and Nomazulu Ndlovu’s is one of dedication, growth and a deep connection to place.

Her journey at Thonga Beach Lodge began in 2004, scrubbing pots and learning from the kitchen around her.
More than two decades later, she is the heart and soul of Thonga’s kitchen, having led the culinary team for the past 10 years.

It’s people like Nomazulu who give Isibindi’s food its story.
Food Safari with Isibindi celebrates not only the recipes from our lodges, but the people, places and journeys behind them.
