Sleeping up to six guests in three beautiful sea-facing bedrooms, The Windsock combines comfort, privacy and spectacular views with a level of personal attention that has become our trademark. Linda and I are incredibly proud to see The Windsock rated 10 on Booking.com. Since we opened in December 2023, it’s been such a joy welcoming guests and their pets into our little piece of Ballito paradise and watching them enjoy it just as much as we do.

Senior boy Shadow already exhausted watching ‘operation clean-up’ on the go for of our next wonderful guests. Seems he has forgotten not to get too comfy as he will be politely asked to move later on when it is the couch and cushion’s turn for a thorough clean. 🤣😍

We were honoured to be nominated in this year’s Best of Ballito awards. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us!

While we didn’t place in the top 3 (hard to compete with places that are hosting many guests a night!), we remain proud to be an intimate, exclusive retreat where quality, privacy, and personal touches are our priority.

Our goal isn’t to be booked back-to-back, It’s to create a special, restful experience for each and every guest (including pets) 🐾

We also want to give a big shoutout to the amazing local businesses that did place. Their recognition is well deserved, and we are pleased to be in Ballito with such highly recognized establishments and service providers.

At The Windsock, we use and support Best of Ballito nominees and winners for everything from maintenance and laundry to restaurants, entertainment, and guest services.
