Africa's Finest Photographer - Martin Harvey

It's the time when turtles, leatherbacks, loggerheads, Riddley's green and a few other species, start spying out the East Africa coastline in preparation for coming ashore to drop their precious loads of the next generation.

Later, the long rush to freedom of the hatchlings is a harrowing and yet uplifting sight to experience. These are baby leatherbacks, a few of which will grow into adults the size of a small car.
