December 3rd 2023 Nick showed up in camp as a last minute addition to someone’s trip. He told us his most desired animal was a common springbok. It took time, phone calls, and various other logistics to find him a worth trophy, but we are always happy to put in the legwork to get our customers their desires. After several attempts at springboks with some rifle issues slowing him down, Nick was able to take a beautiful springbok. According to Nick the efforts put forth to get him the trophy he desired was one of the biggest reasons that he decided Namahadi Safari’s was the place that he would continue returning to. He kept that statement true when him and Serena came back to Namahadi in March of 2025 to celebrate their 40th birthdays. During that trip Nick and Serena went out with Jovan and Nick was able to take not just 1, but two beautiful springboks with a black and a copper working towards his slam. Nick returned May of 2026 as a guest with another group of hunters, but was unable to secure a white springbok for his slam. Nick and his daughter Jayden came to Namahadi July 18 to celebrate Jayden’s high school graduation and 18th birthday. On the final day of their trip Nick was able to take a gorgeous white springbok to finish his slam.
CONGRATULATIONS Nick on your springbok slam (we can’t wait to see what Dakota Plains Taxidermy and Hunting Adventures makes for you) and thank you for trusting your trips and family to Namahadi Safari’s!!! (Now we need to get you back here to finish working on your Impala slam😜)
