If you are travelling to the Garden Route/Wilderness area from Cape Town or visa versa, and choose to take Route 62 instead of the N2, you will only be driving an extra 50km! Hardly worth mentioning when you consider the beautiful scenery, quaint towns and exceptional wines available along Route 62.
