Say hello to Mervyn, our friendly and helpful bar manager at the Pig and Whistle! 🍻
Mervyn has been an integral part of our team for over 10 years, starting as a part-time barman and working his way up to the role of bar manager and go-to person for anything around the hotel.

Affectionately known as Merv, he's known for going above and beyond to assist anyone – staff, patrons, locals, or even complete strangers. No task is ever too much trouble for Mervyn. He's the heart and soul of our warm hospitality!

And if you're up for a treat, make sure to ask Mervyn for his signature Jelloshot! 🍹Trust us; it's the best around!

We've got a busy few months coming up, with Halloween celebrations, the Bathurst Art Fair, a special Art Dinner with Chef Carl and the Bathurst Plant & Garden Festival in December.

This weekend in Bathurst Village is going to be great. 🐷🍻

Start your Friday night at the Historic Pig and Whistle Inn, Bathurst with Karaoke, Meal Specials and the Pigs for People Joker Jackpot. Join us for dinner, stay for the singing, and maybe try your luck at the jackpot!

Saturday is all about Oktoberfest, with the Pig B**r Garden, cold beers, gin on tap, traditional German food and The Survivals Band bringing the live music. 🍻🎶

Then finish the weekend the best way, with our famous Sunday Roast Lunch.
