Over the last few months, we have been overjoyed to see an increase in the take up of our P Cloth among female hikers. Women are telling their girlfriends about P Cloth as a , hygienic and convenient option to toilet paper for when you need to ti**le on the trail.
Leopard Trail, the spectacular four-day, three-night hiking route in the Baviaanskloof, like many other overnight and multiday trails, has challenges with hikers (primarily women) leaving behind toilet paper, tissues and wet wipes(!!!) after taking a ti**le on the trails and at scenic picnic spots.
To provide their hikers with a reusable alternative, Leopard Trail has their own custom-print P Cloth (and AR Mini and Hiking Gaiters too) in their shop at the start.
Our thanks to Leopard Trail for supporting us, for working to educate their hikers about reusable, hygienic P Cloth, and for taking a stand against littering on their trails and in the environment.
When we chat to women at events/markets about our P Cloth, some crinkle their noses at the idea of a p*e cloth saying, "I drip dry". Realistically, drip drying is a hygiene no-no as you end up with p*e on your panties in a warm environment where it will not dry; creating a wonderful environment for microbes to flourish. Our P Cloth dries in the wind clipped to your pack and it can be reused over and over. Dried p*e does not smell.
