WE HAVE NEWS!
From Bed & Breakfast to Room Rentals
Johann and Inge Nieder-Heitmann, resident managers of NiederHeim , invite you to share their spacious, up-market and charming home and lush garden in leafy Loevenstein, Bellville, Cape Town.
NiederHeim is derived from the family name, which means ‘NetherHome’—your cosy home down in the Mother City.
The Nieder-Heitmann family have occupied the spacious property since 1991. After the children had left home, Esther and Jan successfully converted and managed their spacious home as a Bed and Breakfast for twelve years before retiring to Mossel Bay. Vouching for their achievement, AA Quality Assured Accommodation Programme graded NiederHeim B&B as ‘Highly Recommended’’. This rating indicates ‘a property that offers high levels of professionalism and attention to detail in the decor, quality of furnishings and service.’ The SA Tourist Grading Council also awarded niederHeim B&B four stars.
In response to Eskom’s load shedding that has been plaguing our country, we have at high cost installed an electrical system that provides uninterrupted power supply for all lights, uncapped WiFi modem; computers; TV’s and decoders; fridges; and, other essential equipment. It is solar sourced and utility supplemented to keep the battery charged. Similarly, our water heating is primarily solar powered. All run-off rain water is harvested to keep the garden lush and inviting. All these ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay while being environmentally friendly.
Johann has meanwhile moved back to the home of his youth with his young family to manage NiederHeim —this time not as a B&B, but as Room Rentals. Here they continue to maintain the pleasant atmosphere and a sense of belonging in a setting of beauty, style, luxury, cleanliness, tranquility, privacy, personal safety and security of property—all features for which NiederHeim has become famous.
Here, a shady, wind shielded and lush garden is also home to a myriad of indigenous Cape birds delighting themselves in the moss and fern-clad bird fountain naturally crafted out of Table Mountain sandstone—for the enjoyment of us all here.
