A great country getaway

The Gooding Country House and Olive Farm is situated in the Bosjesmans River Valley between the historical towns of McGregor, Bonnievale and the popular Robertson winelands. An olive grove of 3 000 mature olive trees, fynbos and renosterveld - home to the blue Crane, picturesque river banks, shady forests and spectacular mountains are there for you to explore. Ideal for families and for romantic getaways, this restored Karoo-Georgian country house offers three large en-suite bedrooms; spacious living areas; an open fire place; well-equipped kitchen; wide verandas; a plunge pool and shady picnic areas. From the wide veranda enjoy breath-taking views over the valley, mountains and groves. Hidden in the olive grove alongside is the Hart-beeshuisie, also recently restored with its own lounge, kitchen and en-suite bedroom. And further along the grove is the Kasteeltjie offering charming accommodation. River side picnics, hiking trails, mountain climbing and biking, bird watching, country road drives, wine tasting routes, olive picking in season, star gazing, champagne air!
