Ons plaas die POPI-vrywaring, aangesien alle Facebook groepe vanaf 1 Julie 2021 aan die wet moet voldoen. Soos ons almal weet, is die spêrdatum vir die Wet op die Beskerming van Persoonlike Inligting, 4 van 2013 (“POPIA”), op 30 Junie 2021
Hierdie sperdatum bring 'n paar veranderinge mee. Een van hierdie veranderinge is dat daar van die administrateurs verwag word om u toestemming te bekom vir deelname aan hierdie Facebook groep. As sodanig word u hiermee in kennis gestel dat u geregtig is om sodanige toestemming te weier en u mag so 'n reg uitoefen deur hierdie groep te verlaat. As u verkies om in hierdie groep te bly, sal u aanvaar dat u ingestem het om deel te wees van hierdie groep. In hierdie verband doen ons 'n beroep op alle lede van hierdie groep om nie om watter rede ook al van sulke persoonlike inligting gebruik te maak sonder om die toestemming van die betrokke persoon te verkry nie.

Important notice
We need to share a POPIA disclaimer as all Facebook groups need to adhere to the Act from 1 July 2021. As we all know the compliance due date for the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”), being 30 June 2021 is now reality
This deadline brings a few changes. One of these changes is that the administrators will be required to obtain your consent for being part of this Facebook group. As such, you are herewith notified that you are entitled to refuse such consent and you may exercise such a right by leaving this group. Should you elect to remain in this group, it will be accepted that you have consented to being a part of this group. In this regard, we implore on all members of this group not to make use of such personal information for whatsoever reason, without obtaining the consent of the relevant person.
