Nampo 2026
This year, the Louvre Group served around 300 meals per day, coordinated 760 sleep nights through the Louvre Annex programme, and facilitated a project footprint of approximately R3.6 million paid into the local economy through homeowners, caterers, staff, suppliers and service providers.
That number matters to us.
Because behind every room prepared, every meal plated and every guest welcomed was a local person earning, building, fixing, cooking, cleaning, supplying or hosting.
What started as a small guesthouse 28 years ago, has slowly grown into something bigger than accommodation. During Nampo, it becomes a working network of homes, kitchens, teams and partnerships across Bothaville.
The Louvre Annex programme alone allows local homeowners to participate directly in the Nampo economy under the Louvre Guesthouse umbrella, creating income opportunities that ripple far beyond our own properties.
And while the numbers are meaningful, the real story is found in moments like these:
Late-night conversations around the fire.
Farmers reconnecting after long seasons.
Families gathering after exhibition days.
Guests arriving tired and leaving looked after.
We are proud of what was built here this year.
Proud of our staff. Proud of our homeowners. Proud of our town.
Bothaville may be small on a map, but during Nampo, it moves with remarkable force.
