ONE YEAR OF BUMBRAH 😀💪

One year ago, we opened the gates wondering… would anyone actually come?

Would people see what we see in this farm? Would they love it as much as we do?

September came and went with almost no guests. Our very first guests arrived in October, and somehow, here we are a year later wondering if three sites are actually enough!

I could probably have found better pictures to show the journey from where we started to where we are now… but to show it all would be far too many pictures! 😂

So, here’s just a little glimpse.

Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, shared Bumbrah, recommended us and supported us along the way.

And thank you for loving this farm as much as we do, and helping us build it into what we’ve always wanted it to be.

Be honest... if you don't own all the camping gear yet, would you rent a fully kitted-out trailer like this for a weekend away?

Imagine booking your campsite at Bumbrah, hitching one of these .sa trailers, and arriving with most of the hard work already done. Less stress, more time around the fire.

Or are you a "nah, I'll stick to my trusty tent" kind of camper?

A little stream crossing on the way to the trail.

The streams running through Krakeelpoort Farm aka Bumbrah camp - are part of the Botrivier landscape, and after a bit of winter rain, they bring the whole place to life.

This moment was captured by , who has a pretty good eye for finding the adventure in the small moments. From epic outdoor campaigns to the quiet details in between, Tyron’s photography makes you want to get outside and see it for yourself.

I was also there taking photos on the day, thinking I had pretty good shots… until Tyron showed me his 😂
