Whats to be done in Brenton - The attractions

Enjoy the Brenton Main Beach and other beaches (Blue Flag beach in season)
Enjoy the walk on the boardwalk along the edge of the cliffs and other Brenton walks
Pack sun-downers and or picnic supper and enjoy them on the boardwalk or beach
Clamber up Castle Rock at low tide to watch the fishermen and the spectacular cra

shing of the waves โ€“ hold on tight! Explore the many rock pools at low tide
Sit and relax on the balcony - enjoy the sunsets especially during our long summer evenings
Walk down to Nauticus restaurant for a great breakfast with a view! Our favorite things to do in the immediate area:

Take the 4km walk along the beach to Buffels Bay. Treat yourself to an ice cream or maybe walk there for breakfast. Best at low tide. On an evening drive around Brenton on Lake you may spot resident bushbuck. Walk through the small bird sanctuary while you are there. Pack a picnic, breakfast or lunch (or braai goodies) and head off to Jubilee creek. Its an easy walk to the swimming hole and back before picnicking. NB: don't forget your swimming costume and swimming towel! Take a drive to Buffels Bay for a swim (excellent beach for small children). Walk down to Nauticus restaurant for a great breakfast with a view! Belvidere Manor Hotel โ€“ On a fine day, enjoy tea and scones on the terrace overlooking the garden and magnificent view of Knysna Lagoon. When in town (Knysna), treat yourself to takeaway fish and chips from Knysna Seafood Safari (044 382 3811) near Fruit and Veg City. Find a scenic spot to enjoy (suggestions: The Quay at Thesen Islands or Leisure Island. The Bell Tavern for yummy pub fare and a great vibe.
