Our Piece of Heaven
Angel’s Rock originated from Wilmarie’s passion for nature and animals. Wilmarie decided there must be more to life than just racing around, sitting in traffic and working too pay the bills. She sold her business and townhouse and bought a piece of heaven in the Bushwillow Nature Conservancy of which she is now the Chairperson. Bushwillow Conservancy forms part of the WilgeRiver and Bronkhorspruit Conservation area. Walking distance from the main house is the most beautiful rock cottage built by hand by the initial owner several years ago. Although Wilmarie moved to Angel’s Rock (Self Named) alone initially, she met her husband soon after. They decided that Angel’s Rock is such a blessing to them that they wanted to share it with other people. It’s a gorgeous gem less than an hour away from Pretoria and OR Thambo airport. Not too far for a weekend getaway but not to close either. There dream is to share it with everyone who appreciates nature as much as they do so that they can experience the peace and recharge that you get from Angel’s Rock. Currently Angel’s Rock accommodation is becoming more and more popular by the day. The couple now wants to see how they can promote Angel’s Rock to international Tourists who may never have experienced this either, for weekday bookings. It’s breathtaking views and all it has to offer is just a booking away!
