Boarding Houses “Securing the Future” Project

Pretoria Boys High School is launching an exciting sustainability initiative to safeguard our boarding houses against South Africa’s ongoing electricity and water challenges.

This Securing the Future project aims to install a solar power and water storage system, ensuring our boarders enjoy uninterrupted power and water supply, lower running costs, and a reduced carbon footprint.
This project will provide reliable clean energy and water for all three boarding houses, saving overall overhead costs annually from 2026 as electricity and water tariffs rise. It’s a long-term investment in stability, sustainability, and the continued excellence of our boarding institutions.

Together, let’s keep the lights on, the water hot, and our boys learning - with the sun, with foresight, and with your support.
