It’s time to raise the bar. When you have support behind you, anything is possible. The Tribe of Asher irrigation system is now up and running, marking an exciting step forward for our vegetable garden.

Growing vegetables comes with its challenges, and building community gardens has its share of ups and downs. Yet, time and again, the rewards far outweigh the obstacles. Seeing gardens flourish, communities come together, and children learn where their food comes from makes every effort worthwhile.

Teaching people to grow their own food and develop a love for the soil is an ongoing journey. It’s not a once-off training session or a passion shared for a moment. It requires dedication, consistency, and a commitment through every season. Real growth takes time, patience, and perseverance.

Stick with it, nurture what you plant, and in time you will reap what you sow.

The Tribe of Asher upgrade is underway! Irrigation is officially going into our very first Shiloh garden, and we could not be more excited about this next step of growth and improvement.

Every pipe laid and every line connected is part of building something sustainable for the future. Water is life, and with this new system in place we look forward to healthier crops, better harvests, and a garden that can continue to flourish through every season.

Garlic is looking beautiful this season at RHOOM.With 8 500 garlic cloves planted, we are incredibly excited for the months ahead.

Every seed is hand planted with care into beds enriched with wood ash and organic cow manure, giving each plant the best possible start.

We also add what we call God’s blanket — collecting autumn leaves to protect and nourish the soil naturally, improving it season after season.

A reminder that healthy soil, patience, and faith always produce something meaningful.

Overgrown and entangled no more. Sometimes the garden tells you it’s time for change. I finally had enough of the overgrown shrubs and decided to clear out and replant an entire section of the garden, creating space for fresh spring vegetables and a thriving summer garden ahead.

The before and after was a total shock to the system, but also a reminder that growth often begins with cutting back, opening up, and starting again. 🌱
