The accommodation options are self-catering: The cosy Log Cabin (max 6 sleeper) and luxurious Lodge (max 8 sleeper) are set on the banks of the Elandskloof River, surrounded by Fynbos, cattle, horses & fields of Proteas. Guests are welcome to walk and cycle through the Protea fields and the natural Fynbos, swim in the dams or river pools and fish for Trout on a "catch and release" basis.

This is not a friendly tortoise - it’s a small smelly terrapin that I found crossing the road yesterday. Have a close look at the angry eye. Apparently, they are carnivorous and prey on ducklings 🐥
