Ymansdam Camping & Self Catering Cottage Visit Ymansdam and taste, experience and smell the lovely Karoo. Guests can choose between an unique campsite that also have ablution facilities.

Ymansdam is situated next to the Tankwa Karoo National Park at the foot of the Roggeveld Mountain, about an hour's drive from Calvinia. At night guests can relax around the camp fire and look up at the starry skies while enjoying the unbelievable fresh air so akin to the Karoo. Ymansdam also has a fully equipped self-catering Cottage that is ideal for two people. The Cottage has an en-suite bathro

om with shower, open-plan kitchen as well as a veranda with a fireplace and a splash pool. Please note that various facilities and services are available on the premises. These include purchasing wood, braai areas under trees, outside ablution facilities and a warm shower. We also have a farm dam and hiking trails, walking, biking, 4 x 4 trails, bicycle touring and birdwatching are some of the activities to partake is as well as donkey cart rides are available by appointment. We also have farm animals that can be viewed by the children.
