Goed nieuws, we gaan de goede kant op met het waterniveau van de dammen rondom Kaapstad!

Er staat ongeveer 75% meer water in de dammen vergeleken met dezelfde tijd vorig jaar en significant meer dan 2016 toen er relatief waterbesparingsprojecten geimplementeerd waren. De afgelopen week steeg het gezamenlijk niveau met 4.6%.

Wat ook op zijn plaats is, is een "well done" aan Capetonians voor het besparen van water, installeren van nieuwe water besparende systemen. Tevens ook een oproep aan allen om vooral de best te doen om te blijven besparen natuurlijk.

Laten we er ook voor zorgen dat dit goede nieuws gedeeld wordt en dat Capetonians een voorbeeld worden in het bezuinigen van water.

Het Day Zero nieuws heeft grote impact gehad op het toerisme (voor de goede orde: toerisme in de Kaap heeft 1% impact op het watergebruik).
