If you arrive, after a long day's travelling, very late at night and you are welcomed so warmly, then it can only mean that you are about to have an excellent stay. And that is how it was.
Besides beautiful Cape Town, the exquisite room, the excellent bed, the location, the overall cleanliness, everywhere the familiar "M" (I adore that sort of detail) and the delicious breakfasts, especially the extras Maarten and staff do.
The personal attention, remembering our names, always friendly, knowledge about the country and culture. The tips ("Rather hike up Lion's Head instead of Table Mountain"), a needle for the blisters, the nodding of the head with the words "Don't do it", the daily weather report, the frown on his forehead when we, despite the cold, want to swim in the ocean, and still he explains where is best to do it, texting you for an excursion and then giving you a lift. You and your team made us feel like your guest house is our home! We hope that you can accommodate many more guests so that they too can enjoy your delectable establishment!

Today is the longest day in Europe and the shortest day in Cape Town. We are looking forward to our spring and summer seasons. South Africa is the place to visit during this period and even in winter and autumn it is great to discover its beauty. South Africa is the world in one country.
